A fun weekend to start a new week...

The weekend was great. The LOD2 fundraiser was awesome. The music was awesome. The friends we were with were fun. What more can anyone ask for??? The grand total raised through the summer concerts and the big night surpassed the goal of $10,000 for Parkinsons and ALS. I would say that it was well worth it. Congratulatons to Dave and Mike for putting together the Niagara Falls series of shows, and to all the sponsors. We're just around the corner to The Light of Day 3!!

So, that was my Friday night. On Saturday evening, the hubster and I went with 4 other couples to our local dinner theatre. The dinner was salad, Italian or pizza bread, pasta with meatballs and sausage, chicken, broasted potatoes, desserts and coffee. Yummm. It was delish. The play was called Opening Night, a comedy by Norm Foster. It started off a bit slow, but it turned out to be pretty funny. More good times with more friends! It's the first time we've gone and I'd say it was well worth the cost. Definately on my list of things to do again.

Soooo, that brings me to the second part of my title, a new week. Nothing spectacular to say here except I did get a layout completed for the Designer Spotlight Challenge at http://www.oscraps.com/. This weeks designer in the spotlight is Amy Teets. I used her Mod Christmas kit to create a Christmas card for the challenge. I think it turned out pretty darn cute!

So that's about it for me today. I have a couple more challenge/creative team things that I'm working on and I'll post 'em up when they're complete. Have a great evening!
